About the game

Word Search: Offline Puzzle puts a block of letters in front of you and a list of words beside it. Each tile on the board belongs to one of those words, so the board only goes quiet when the last one is traced and colored in.

Hold and drag over letters that touch, then let go to send the word. Your line is allowed to hook around a corner, which is why words never sit in neat rows and you end up checking bends as closely as straight runs. A miss costs nothing. Hints uncover a letter, solved words can be tapped for their meaning, and no clock runs at any point.

How to play

• Press and drag across touching letters with your finger or the mouse, then release to submit the word.
• Your path may turn corners, so look at the bends and not only the straight lines.
• Correct words lock in color; a wrong route loses nothing, so try another one from the same tile.
• Tap a solved word to read its meaning, or use a hint to reveal a letter when one stays hidden.
