About the game
Shapes land on a grid, you fit them into rows and columns, and anything you complete disappears. Three pieces wait at the bottom of the screen at a time, so the order you place them in matters. Wipe several lines with one drop and the combo pays better.
What keeps it from being plain block stacking is the gear. You carry up to three items into a match, and they do different work: score boosts, bombs, lightning, an undo, or a rule change for the board. Some fire on their own, others you set off yourself. New items come out of a capsule machine that takes tickets, and the round is over once none of your leftover pieces has a spot.
