Cookies on Poki
No cookies on Poki track your activity. Browser storage is used for one reason only: a game has to remember your progress — the level you reached, your high score.
What gets stored
As you play, a game might put a small file into your browser so it can pick up where you stopped. Once you wipe your browser data, that save disappears. It is never intended to trail you across other sites.
Cookies in game frames
Certain games are embedded from sources outside Poki. Within the game frame, those games and their ad partner may place cookies of their own. Such cookies are not under our control, and from one game to another they vary. To learn precisely what a single game sets, look at that game's own cookie notice inside the frame.
How consent works
Starting a game is how you give consent. When you click a game and play it, you agree to the cookies that game and its ad partner need in order to load and run. If that is not what you want, simply don't start the game.
Block or delete cookies
- Go to your browser settings and locate the privacy or cookies area.
- To stop most in-frame cookies while keeping Poki functional, block third-party cookies.
- To erase saved progress in games, delete site data for this site.
- For a clean session that clears itself when you close it, use a private or incognito window.
If you block everything, a game's save may break or an embedded game may fail to load entirely. Should a game behave oddly after you change settings, reload the page and try once more.
