Games That Test Your Skills

Skill games are about doing one thing well under pressure: jumping a gap, landing a flip, sinking a shot. Most of them take ten seconds to learn and a lot longer to get good at. The obby games are the clearest example. You run, jump and climb across platforms, and one mistimed jump drops you back down. Obby: Climb and Slide and Obby: Parkour with Ragdoll are good places to start, and the ragdoll one is funny even when you fail. Geometry Dash: Infinity is the opposite kind of test: you tap to the beat and the wave does not forgive a late press. Moto X3M wants smooth flips and clean landings, and Bottle Flip is pure timing on your phone. Play with a friend and take turns: lowest number of tries wins.
